Late december 2013, the aging sisters Benedict decide to give up their treasured home and move out of  the vast Abbey of which they took meticulous care.  The not-for-profit diocesan organization Camino Brugge is taking care of the elderly sisters; they also took ownership of the building. 
In 2016, Camino agreed to a 50 year lease with the City of Brugge so that the magnificent buildings can serve the community in new ways.
